2 Houston Texas (IRE) by Dylan Thomas (IRE) x Royal Robin (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Houston Texas following in the footsteps of his Bob Back-sired dam by winning a maiden point, when he opened his account at Tinahely in mid-October. The battling success of the Dylan Thomas gelding that cost €38,000 as a three-year-old, followed two very consistent placed efforts where he chased home more experienced rivals on successive outings at Necarne and Moira in September and October. That Necarne effort has already been boosted, with his conqueror on that occasion, Er Dancer, going on to follow up at Loughrea, before Houston Texas then went and got his own head in front at Tinahely. Battling gamely, this eye-filling six-year-old had to prove his toughness as he overcame the persistent challenge of Local Rogue, a horse that had previously finished placed in a maiden hurdle, with the pair pulling ten lengths clear of the six-time placed Quill Road.

5 Saratoga Lass (IRE) by Valirann (FR) x Grangeclare Star (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Saratoga Lass won the very first race of the new Irish point-to-point season with a winning debut at Ballingarry in late September. Representing handler Kieran Roche who also introduced the now Listed Hurdle winner Silver Forever to make a winning debut in a four-year-old mares’ maiden, this youngster kickstarted back-to-back successes in the age group for her sire Valirann who then went on to sire a second four-year-old winner eight days later at Monksgrange, when she ran out a one and a-half length victor. Showing plenty of speed when making her decisive move for the winning post approaching the home bend, she very quickly opened up an advantage suggesting that she has all the pace to be effective over shorter trips when making the move to the racecourse.

6 Great Heart'jac (FR) by Blue Bresil (FR) x Aqua Fontana (FR)

P2P.ie Review: This son of Blue Bresil scored at Lisronagh last Saturday and has all the attributes of a top notch NH recruit for the future. Always travelling strongly throughout the race he was smoothly asked to move into a challenging position two out and soon went on to score by over a length at the finish. He is out of a sister to the high class NH performer Lac Fontana and comes from a page packed with top notch flat performers including Marienbard, so he would appear to have a wonderful mix of speed, stamina and class to progress through the ranks.

7 Rock On Rita (IRE) by Shirocco (GER) x Gilt Free (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: The debut winner of her maiden at Dromahane last Sunday she looks a very talented mare well placed to maximise the increased mares programme in the NH sphere currently. Making all the running she began to increase the tempo on the turn for home and it was telling how quickly her rivals began to fall away. Her increase in speed from the third last home was impressive and having jumped well a slight error at the last showed that she had plenty left to give as she picked up strongly again. Whilst she stayed very well here it is notable how many multiple high level flat winners are on her page and she looks set to be a very classy mare for new connections.

8 Jonbon (FR) by Walk In The Park (IRE) x Star Face (FR)

P2P.ie Review: A terrific addition to this or indeed any catalogue. A full brother to one of the most talented NH performers of any era in Douvan he is an exceptional individual in his own right commanding €140,000 as a three year old when purchased as a store. At Dromahane last Sunday he made his debut and everything about his performance suggested he can add further to his exceptional pedigree and that he was well selected as a store. He moved with great ease through the race but once he went to the front from three out his class told. He eased clear and when asked to pick up after the last the response was instant. Furthermore he showed exceptional use of himself over the final fences showing himself to be neat in front and an accurate jump along with having considerable scope. He received a rating of 97+ which is the highest rating achieved by any four year old maiden winner since ratings began and he looks value for quite an amount more as he inevitably steps up in company to the very highest level of the NH sphere. A hugely exciting talent and an addition to any yard or owner.

9 Ahoy Senor (IRE by Dylan Thomas (IRE) x Dara Supreme (IRE)

This impressive-looking gelding put up a remarkable performance when setting a pulverising gallop in a competitive four- and five-year-old maiden race at Kimble in Buckinghamshire on the final day of October. Too big and raw to run as a four-year-old, and an early unseater when making his point-to-point debut in March, he made no mistake at the second time of asking. He scored by 30 lengths and a short-head – runner-up Salute The King had shown promise in Irish point-to-points before joining a smart stable in Britain for this season. Winning rider Alex Edwards described Ahoy Senor as a “very straightforward horse”, and while the partnership coasted up the run-in well clear of rivals their winning time was only three seconds slower than the card’s men’s open race, which was run at a strong gallop and landed by a five-time winner in France who had earned more than €200,000 in prize money. Ahoy Senor was foaled by a mare who won a point-to-point on debut in Ireland, but subsequently suffered a knee injury and could not build on that success. He is a half-brother to a winning pointer/hurdler.

10 Ballybough Mary (IRE) by Shirocco (GER) x In Sync (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Ballybough Mary is a horse who has not only shown a great deal of ability at this early stage of her career, but also has a notable pedigree, given that she is out of a half-sister to the former Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Synchronised. Making her debut at Dromahane in mid-October when travelling particularly strongly, the Shirocco mare ran a race full of promise to finish second to another well related mare. That debut came on Good ground, and she showed her versatility ground wise when winning by a wide margin on her very next start in testing conditions at Curraghmore. That Co. Waterford track is one of the bigger courses on the circuit, and in the conditions, it set a real test for the runners, but the gutsy manner in which she saw out her race to win by ten lengths was certainly admirable.

13 Broomfields Kan (IRE) by Arakan (USA) x Roses And Wine (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Following in the footsteps of his Roselier-sired dam Roses And Wine, Broomfields Kan opened his account in a maiden point when getting the better of a big field at Dromahane. Having clearly progressed since his Kilfeacle debut last January, the Arakan gelding sat on the heels of the leaders throughout before edging upsides rounding the home bend. Three foot-perfect jumps over the three fences in the home straight proved a notable asset, with a particularly swift leap at the last really sealing victory as it saw him quickly take command on the run-in, as he ultimately crossed the line with what looked to be a great deal in hand. It was notable just how superior he ultimately was with his chief rivals in second, third, fourth and fifth, all closely closely matched in a blanket finish behind him. The fact that he was able to pull an easy three lengths clear of these likely future maiden winners, highlights this superiority.

15 Bold Getaway (IRE) by Getaway (GER) x Queen's Forest (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: This is notably tough youngster who has shown ability from the outset. On his debut at Punchestown he held every chance on the turn for home before coming down in a clear second at the final fence having given a very smart account of himself. He then went to Tyrella and ran well in a fair third before exiting at the last. On his return to action this season he managed the required confidence booster when a solid fifth at Moira and on his most recent start he finished a very solid 4l second to Percy Warner at Umma House. That winner was trained by Gordon Elliott’s in form team who saddled a treble on the card and five winners on the day so this was a very taking display to run so close to this highly regarded winner. This is a son of Getaway and out of a Kings Theatre mare who has the mental and physical toughness to make into a real money spinner.

17 Kilbarry Leader (IRE) by Leading Light (IRE) x Eternal Lady (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A debut winner of a four-year-old maiden at Dromahane by a comfortable four lengths. This was a race run at a strong pace and clocked a decent time which was ten seconds faster than average on the day. The runner up is out of a sister to Gold Cup winner Synchronised and this was a maiden which appeared to have notable depth. She arrived to challenge at the second last and quickened smartly all the way to the line in the manner of a classy recruit. She is out of a dual winning Supreme Leader mare who won a Fairyhouse bumper and a Navan Maiden hurdle for John Magnier and Christy Roche.

18 Fable (FR) by Coastal Path (GB) x Toscane des Fleurs (FR)

P2P.ie Review:  Coming with a price tag of €45,000 from the store sales, big things were expected of Fable when she made her debut at Oldcastle on the opening weekend of the new season in September and she did not disappoint winning by a wide margin. Always positioned in the first half of the field, the French-bred made her move climbing to the penultimate fence where a superior leap saw her begin to edge away from her principal challenger who ultimately came down at the last when held in the second spot. The form of the race has also received a swift boost, with the third-placed Call Me Merry, who was some 12 lengths behind Fable, coming out and winning at Moira on her very next start.

19 Sublime Heights (IRE) by Arcadio (GER) x Corrag Lass (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Sublime Heights made the best possible start to his career when he ran out the winner of the first four-year-old maiden for geldings of the new season at Ballingarry in September. Following in the footsteps of his dam, the Beneficial mare Corrag Lass, who herself won an older mares’ maiden point at Largy, he showed his liking for conditions as once being left in front in division one of this race at the second last, he battled very gamely to maintain that position. Challenged strongly on two occasions from the run out of the back, he really had to be tough to defeat two fellow first timers, both of whom were nicely bred individuals that had cost €30,000 and €40,000 respectively at the store sales.

20 Paloma Dove (IRE) by Valirann (FR) x Fix It Lady (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Paloma Dove provided well-known rider Harley Dunne with his first success as a handler when she made a winning return to action at Monksgrange in September. Proving very effective on Good ground, she became a second four-year-old winner for her sire Valirann within an eight-day period when she overcame a slight error at the penultimate fence to win by six lengths. Having made all the running she was actually value for more than the winning margin as she did not have to be asked for her maximum effort to record that success.

21 Broomfield Burg (IRE) by Sageburg (IRE) x Somedaysomehow (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: By Sageburg, Broomfield Burg had to master very challenging conditions in order to make a winning debut at Castletown-Geoghegan in early October with the fixture taking place amidst relentless rainfall. Patiently ridden, the €23,000 store sale buy who is out of an Old Vic mare that won over hurdles at Fairyhouse, was part of a very tightly grouped field jumping the third last, before making his move as the home bend approached to defeat two horses who both had the benefit of a previous run over him.

22 Musta Lovea Lovea (IRE) by Mustameet (USA) x Tropical Love (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Musta Lovea Lovea had seemingly looked set to record a debut success on Good ground at Monksgrange in September only to come down at the final fence whilst holding pole position in this dramatic event. Two of his rivals had exited at the previous fence which left the son of Mustameet with an unassailable advantage as he approached the final obstacle, however luck was not on his side and he too came down with victory in his sights.

23 Yes Governor (IRE) by Scorpion (IRE) x Golden Diva (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A final-fence faller when last seen at Ballindenisk in May 2019, Yes Governor might light work of a 17-month absence as he made a winning return to action by getting the better of 11 rivals to win a Good ground Dromahane maiden in October. Once again racing from the front, the son of Scorpion was joined at the penultimate fence by what proved to be a persistent rival as Flamenco De Kerser, who had previous placed form to his name, remained upsides jumping the last, before Yes Governor was able to out-battle him on the run-in and prevail by half a length.

25 Flamenco de Kerser (FR) by Vendangeur (IRE) x Nouba de Kerser (FR)

P2P.ie Review: Flamenco De Kerser opened his account with a very deserving success at Ballycrystal in late October, in a victory which completed a sequence of progression. Having finished third at Portrush in October 2019, the French-bred stepped up from this when filling the runners-up spot at Dromahane on his return to action, being narrowly denied in the process. Once again patiently ridden at Ballycrystal, the Vendangeur gelding, who had jumped off in the rear quarter of the 14-strong field, steadily made forward progress heading towards the halfway point and loomed large as a big danger with three quarters of a mile to race, as Susie Doyle sat confidently behind the leaders on the five-year-old. Once going on from the home bend, he swiftly put the race to bed in the manner of a horse with plenty of toe, as he ultimately won decisively by eight lengths over another of the form horses in the race.

26 American Legacy (GB) by Shirocco (GER) x Karingas Legacy (GB)

P2P.ie Review: American Legacy produced a very impressive jumping performance for a first-time out four-year-old when he made a winning debut at Oldcastle, a venue that his handler Mick Goff has done particularly well at with his young horses – winning four-year-old races at the course in 2018 and 2019 with Cenotice and Ballinsker. This son of Shirocco made his move to the front after the opening mile and it was from here that his fencing proved to be a real asset, with a notable leap at the penultimate fence on the crucial climb to the home straight beginning his move clear of his rivals as he went on to score by three lengths over a close relation of the eight-time track scorer Robin De Carlow.

27 He Is A Cracker (IRE) by Califet (FR) x She Is A Cracker (FR)

P2P.ie Review: Being out of the prolific point-to-point mare She Is A Cracker who won no fewer than nine UK points, it was fitting that He Is A Cracker made his competitive debut in the pointing fields where he could well have made a winning debut had he had better luck on his side at Toomebridge. Jamie Codd had sat confidently on the Califet gelding along the back straight as the pair were just about set to make their move coming to the penultimate obstacle when trapped as the pace-setting Do No Wrong began to weaken in front of him which appeared to cost him valuable places and momentum at a crucial stage. Lost ground is not easy to recoup around this sharp track, so he has to be given for credit for managing to get back on terms before a loose horse crossed the track causing him to wander slightly before the last. Considering all of this and the margin of defeat at just half a length, he would certainly seem unlucky not to have made a winning debut.

28 The Player Queen (IRE) by Yeats (IRE) x Seductive Dance (GB)

Review: This filly won going away when landing a competitive division of a four- and five-year-old maiden race at Maisemore Park in Gloucestershire in late October. Making her racing debut she showed signs of greenness and needed driving when the tempo increased on the final circuit, but her talent began to shine through as they turned for home. From that point the race became a match between her and the highly-regarded Another Nightcap, but she led between the final two fences and was three lengths clear at the line. Hailing from a leading point-to-point yard, she is a half-sister to three winners under Rules. Her dam was a full-sister to the Listed Galtres Stakes runner-up Segovia, and a half-sister to talented Dovaly, who won on the Flat and over jumps, and was successful in the Galway Plate.

29 My Bad Lucy (GB) by Kayf Tara (GB) x Luci di Mezzanotte (GB)

P2P.ie Review: Costing £37,000 out of the Grech and Parkin Dispersal at the 2019 Goffs UK Spring Sale, My Bad Lucy finished sixth at Ballycahane in the spring on his debut when under the care of Colin Bowe, and since his summer break, the Kayf Tara gelding has taken a very positive step forward. First finishing third in extremely testing conditions at Castetown-Geoghegan, he then showed his versatility by going two places better on a quicker surface at Umma House. Always positioned to the fore in division two of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden at the Westmeath course, once moving to the front early in the home straight, he very swiftly put the race to bed by defeating Cream Of The West, a horse that had looked booked for third at Toombridge before falling at the last, by eight lengths. There was further depth to the performance, with Coachman, a €60,000 son of Maresca Sorrento back in third.

30 Bold Leader (GB) by Dunaden (FR) x Queenoz (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: The first son of the late Melbourne Cup winner Dunaden to run in an Irish point-to-point, Bold Leader had the misfortune of coming up against a very exciting performer in Glengouly on his latest effort at Loughrea. Having exited at the last on his re-appearance at Ballingarry, Warren Ewing’s charge again raced close to the pace at the Co. Galway course where to his credit he was the only horse that was able to live with the impressive winner to the home straight, with the front trio ultimately 10 lengths clear of their rivals in this 12-runner four-year-old maiden that clocked a notable time 12 seconds quicker than the day’s average.

31 Starevitch (FR) by Sinndar (IRE) x Folie Star Gate (FR)

P2P.ie Review: Coming from Colin Bowe’s Milestone Stables, Starevitch is unsurprisingly well related having cost €65,000 at last year’s Goffs Land Rover Sale with his Saint Preuil dam having won four times in France. This son of the late Derby winner Sinndar made a winning debut at Dromahane in mid-October where he raced positively throughout. One of four horses disputing the advantage jumping the third-last fence, he picked up well to take over the outright advantage coming to the penultimate obstacle from where he was always doing enough to contain the efforts of his challengers. Following an excellent round of jumping from this horse who would not seem to be short on speed, he ultimately crossed the line to win by a length.

32 Fruit N Nut (IRE) by Carlotamix (FR) x Perilously (USA)

P2P.ie Review: This is a sharp son of Carlotamix who is out of a mare who was placed on the flat for Jeremy Noseda over 1m 3f and 1m 4f. He ran into an outstanding winner in My Immortal and produced a performance that most likely would have won many maidens which had been run earlier in the season but the standard has become notably high and purchasers may look towards lots such as this for proven ability and possible value. He stayed on strongly from the second last right the way to the line and looks a horse who will have benefitted plenty from this maiden outing and will develop into a very capable performer in due course.

33 Golden Roc (IRE) by Shirocco (GER) x Sovereign Lass (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Having only got as far as the midway point before falling at the eighth in Moira on his return to action, Golden Roc more than made up for his early exit the following week when powering up the testing Tinahely hill to get his head in front on his very first completed outing. This 13-runner maiden at the Co. Wicklow venue saw a host of horses holding chances rounding the home bend, and once overcoming some slight traffic issues, this Shirocco gelding that is a half-brother of Sovereign Gold who won twice last season, really hit top gear over the final two fence to collar the long-time leader on the run-in. This game effort saw him account for some form rivals, including the runner-up who had twice finished placed including at Necarne three weeks earlier, and the third Dr Shirocco, who had a second to his name from Turtulla in March.

36 Obey The Rules (IRE) by Rule of Law (USA) x Mamie Buggles (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: The Rule Of Laws gelding Obey The Rules produced a much improved performance from his Dromahane debut when he returned to competitive action ten months later at Monksgrange in September. Racing in the first half of the field throughout in this strongly run maiden at the Co. Wexford course, the five-year-old made a mistake at a crucial point, something that could have proven costly, coming at the third last, the first of three fences in the home on Good ground, but to his credit, he battled back to get right on terms with the eventual winner Dare To Begin at the final fence, only missing out on this maiden success by a length and a half.

37 Earths Furies (IRE) by Dylan Thomas (IRE) x Verney Roe (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: The Michael Murphy yard has started the new season in good form with Earths Furies another of the stables newcomers to put up a big performance on debut when he finished second on Good ground at Dromahane. A half-brother of Gordon Elliott’s Tullybeg, who won his second race five days prior to his introduction, this son of Dylan Thomas was patiently ridden finding himself in fifth position jumping the final fence before powering home best of all up the run-in passing four horses in the short space of time to finish second, just a length behind a horse that had cost €65,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale.

39 Quantum Realm (IRE) by Notnowcato (GB) x Circe's Melody (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A £16,000 purchase at the Goffs UK Spring Sale, Quantum Realm made a winning start to his career in the season’s opening four-year-old auction maiden for horses that were sold at public auction for €25,000 or less. Always positioned to the fore in a relatively large field by four-year-old maiden standards, the son of Notnowcato really excelled over his obstacles in the home straight, and that fluent fencing proved to be a particularly valuable asset. A much quicker leap at the final fence saw him land running with the advantage and gamely fend off the challenge of a persistent rival as the pair pulled six lengths clear of their rivals.

40 Balco Coastal (FR) by Coastal Path (GB) x Fliugika (FR)

P2P.ie Review: Balco Coastal made his debut in a maiden that was notable for the lofty price tags of the principals, as this €52,000 store sale purchase, chased home a €62,000 store. Clearly highly sought after when an unraced three-year-old to merit such a figure, that opinion of the store sale judges was vindicated as he posted a very likeable debut at Curraghmore late last month. Soft ground at this big venue ensured the youngsters were set a notable test and only three runners managed to finish, however the Coastal Path gelding offered a great deal of promise when running into one of the more promising types to have run thus far in the season. Given that the margin of defeat was just five lengths, there is a great deal of promise to be taken from this introduction.

41 Gamin Doux (FR) by Rail Link (GB) x Sweet Surprise (FR)

P2P.ie Review: A €34,000 purchase at the 2019 edition of the Goffs Land Rover Sale, Gamin Doux has proven to be a very progressive individual in his two outings in the pointing fields this term. Having come from off the pace to finish a staying-on third on his debut in a very competitive Loughrea maiden that has already produced a subsequent impressive winner, this Rail Link gelding came very close to becoming another winner to emerge from that race when he ran a huge race in defeat at Rathcannon. Landing with the advantage over the second-last, the French-bred really battled gamely up the stiff climb to the line only to be denied by little over a length in a race which not only saw the pair pull six lengths clear of the remainder, but also clocked a time that was 14 seconds quicker than the day’s average.

42 Surprise Package (GB) by Le Fou (IRE) x Suetsu (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A half-brother to the 136-rated Another Crick, Suprise Package put up a very gutsy display on his debut when finishing second on his debut in a four-year-old auction maiden at Dromahane in October. The son of Le Fou was never outside of the first half-dozen and had the pace to quicken as part of a breakaway group of four horses that pulled clear exiting out of the back straight. Quickening again when produced with his challenge on the inner, his superior speed allowed him to lead the field up much of the home straight, only for a slight slower leap over the last to hand his chief rival the initiative. A very encouraging debut from a horse with all the speed to be an effective performer over shorter trips.

43 Jim Key (IRE) by Shantou (USA) x Queeny's Princess (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A visually impressive debut from this son of the top class Shantou when making an explosive debut at Lisronagh. Derek O’Connor was content to let the race develop before moving into a challenging position before the second last but it was soon clear why he could demonstrate such patience and confidence as the response from this winner was instant. He showed a turn of foot rarely seen in three mile contests and quickened all the way to the line, and in truth for some distance passed the line also. The placed runners both came down at the second last at Monksgrange on their previous outings when second and third respectively so they appeared to add real depth to this race. The time was the fastest of the day and notably faster than the average by thirteen seconds. A rare opportunity to acquire a talented son of Shantou he showed notable scope when required but his speed was the eye-catching aspect of this performance.

44 Gracchus De Balme (FR) by Manbolix (FR) x Olympe De Courdray (FR)

P2P.ie Review: A debut winner of the four year old maiden at Lisronagh last Saturday. With the second, third and fourth all having previous experience it was an admirable effort from this youngster to overcome his lack of experience to win on debut. He went to the front two out and was soon six lengths clear such was the dominance of the performance. From the second last he had all of his rivals in trouble yet he did not seem to get into top gear at any point in this race and seems likely to progress to a high level and win many races throughout his career.

46 Dinghy Young (IRE) by Sholokhov (IRE) x I'm A Character (GB)

P2P.ie Review: A tough youngster who showed real promise on debut at Ballycrystal before stepping up to finish a very creditable second behind the well regarded Grachus De Balme at Lisronagh. He was bought for €45,000 as a store and is a fine model with a pedigree to support him also being a brother to the five times winning Page Turner. His progression suggests there is plenty more to come from this son of Sholokhov

47 Powerful Position (IRE) by Mahler (GB) x Molly Con (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A fine chasing type from the family of some fine chasers over the years including Super Furrow and Atteses. He showed notable speed and class to match his stamina by cutting through the field from the fifth last at Lisronagh last Saturday to score by four lengths with a further six lengths back to the third. He has made a very exciting debut and is now well positioned to go to the track with real hopes of making a big impression in the chasing division over the coming years.

48 Prime Pretender (GB) by Great Pretender (IRE) x The Prime Viper (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A very progressive son of Great Pretender who won on Sunday at Knockmullen House by a clear eight lengths. The runner up Sidewaysinmilan had been three lengths second on his only previous start in a 15-runner Castletown-Geoghegan contest suggesting this was a very much above average effort with real depth to the maiden. He is from a very classy family which includes Accordion Etoile and French Accordion and looks an exciting prospect himself.

49 Bold Endeavour (GB) by Fame And Glory (GB) x Araucaria (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Bold Endeavour produced one of the most notable performance from the early weeks of the new season when he ran out a wide-margin winner on his debut at Necarne – a track that has played host to the initial successes of horses such as Briar Hill and Bun Doran. Out of an Accordion mare that won four races for John Kiely, this son of Fame And Glory made almost all of the running around this undulating venue before beginning to pull clear from the third-last fence. It was from this point that his superiority became clear as he simply pulled further and further ahead of his rivals, to ultimately cross the line with a notable 11 lengths to spare.

50 Tamgho Borget (FR) by Martaline (GB) x Ges (FR)

P2P.ie Review: A very classy debut winner of the four-year-old maiden at Ballycrystal. The runner up had been a very smart second at Ballingarry giving this maiden the confidence any potential purchaser would require. The early pace required speed to be called upon in this maiden and he was the one with the most class and natural speed to come out on top. In a race run in this manner it is difficult to win by a wide margin but it was apparently obvious that he was quickening away from the last to the line and the gap was widening with each and every stride. He was well respected as a store where he realised €54,000 and is out of a mare who won on the flat to further confirm speed is evident. He is a brother to Gemix also and has all the attributes to be a high class NH recruit.

51 Monbeg Genius (IRE) by Shantou (USA) x Ella Watson (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Out of a Supreme Leader mare that enjoyed success on two occasions on the track, this Shantou gelding was a €45,000 purchase from the store sales, and he delivered on that investment by his connections when finishing second in very challenging conditions at Castletown-Geoghegan in October. Never too far away from the pace, Sean Doyle’s charge put up a very brave effort to chase home the previous Kirkistown runner-up, Grady Hollow, in a race which clocked a time that was no less than 22 seconds quicker than the average for the card. Given the conditions facing him, the advantage of a previous run that his conqueror held over him was undoubtedly a big factor, ensuring this has to be considered a very promising debut.

52 Rockstar Ronnie (IRE) by Stowaway (GB) x Dimona (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: It was easy to see why Rockstar Ronnie was considered Aidan Fitzgerald’s best hope of a winner on the opening weekend of the new season when he ran out a very easy victor at Oldcastle in September. That came at the first time of asking for the son of Stowaway who is out of an Alhaarth mare that twice won on the Flat (1m4f – 2m) and it was a very polished performance indeed from the front runner who was very eye-catching in the manner in which he turned on the pressure from the front on the run from the back, in a move that swiftly found his rivals flat footed. From there none of the 13 horses who jumped off with him were able to get close to landing a serious blow as he returned six lengths clear of a much more experienced rival, when in truth also more than a class above.

56 Another Nightcap (IRE) by Dylan Thomas (IRE) x Silver Proverb (GB)

Review: Making his racing debut at Maisemore Park, Gloucestershire, on the first weekend of the current British point-to-point season this horse ran a promising race when finishing second in a competitive four- and five-year-old maiden race. He seemed likely to win off the final bend, but the concession of 7lb to the exciting filly The Player Queen proved just too much, and he was beaten three lengths after being eased near the line. The third horse was 12 lengths adrift. Another Nightcap comes from a yard that is steadily producing a sequence of young pointers that go on to make a mark under Rules. He is a half-brother to two winners, and his dam is a half-sister to three winners, headed by the Gr.2 bumper winner Karanja. Further family members include the very smart Potentate and Thetford Forest, who each won ten races over jumps.

57 Bonbon Balko (IRE) by Balko (FR) x Rosadame (FR)

P2P.ie Review: This is an exciting mare who ran into a very decent looking mare on her debut at an impressive new Westmeath course at Umma House. She led over the second last here and had a good battle with the potentially high class Get A Tonic to the final fence. She did receive a slight bump before the final fence which may have unbalanced her but it certainly would appear that there is considerable improvement from even this level of debut effort. She is a sister to winners and furthermore out of a sister to Polidam and looks an ideal mare to maximise the enhanced mares programme over the coming years.

58 Boston Joe (IRE) by Sageburg (IRE) x Supreme Millie (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: This son of Sageburg is out of a Milan mare who is a sister to Blakemount who in turn is out of a Supreme Leader mare. His debut run when coming to grief three out at Belharbour back in February should be watched by any prospective purchaser given he was really moving into a challenging position at the time and showing notable potential up to that point. His seasonal return to action at Ballycrystal did not disappoint as he finished within about a length of the classy winner Tamgho Borget in a race run at a steady pace. He seems likely to be suited by a strong pace where his cruising speed can be maximised but it should be noted that he coped admirably with the way the race was run and showed encouraging speed. He could be considered somewhat unlucky thus far as there is considerable promise on both outings and his winning days would appear to be just around the corner.

59 East Harlem (IRE) by Leading Light (IRE) x Jill's Girl (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Showing the benefit for his introduction at Necarne a number of weeks earlier, East Harlem was certainly a more competitive force on Good ground at Dromahane when he tried to make all of the running. Overtaken at the penultimate fence, to his credit he stuck gamely to his task so much so that although he dropped to third place by the line, he was just a length and a half behind the eventual winner Starevitch, a horse that had cost no less than €65,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale.

61 Mossy Be Lucky (GB) by Yorgunnabelucky (USA) x Solway Brook (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Just the third individual runner in an Irish point-to-point for the stallion Yorgunnabelucky - Mark Johnson’s useful stayer, Mossy Be Lucky proved to be a far more effective force on the Good ground at Monksgrange in September as he took a big step forward from his Knockmullen House debut to chase home the similarly once previously raced Comes Recommended in a division of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden. Patiently ridden, he moved into the third spot around the home bend before keeping on well to the line to take the runners-up spot and hold off the challenge of the well-related Presenting gelding Ballybeen in the process.

62 Milans Edge (IRE) by Milan (GB) x The Keane Edge (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Owing to quite a steady gallop, all seven horses in the five-year-old mares’ maiden held claims as the home straight approached at Tinahely, and as a result, Milans Edge had to produce a good turn of foot over the final two uphill fences in order to make a winning debut. Out of a Definite Article-sired half-sister of a 135-rated six-time track winner, the daughter of Milan led the field into the home straight where two foot perfect leaps over the final two obstacles always saw her look the likely winner, as she crossed the line five lengths clear of her rivals without ever having to be asked for maximum effort.

63 Undersupervision (IRE) by Doyen (IRE) x Dances With Waves (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: This fine chasing son of Doyen won at Loughanmore where Battloverdoyen won his maiden while this fine strapping chestnut comes from the vendor of Monkfish. This fellow caught the eye from flag fall as his jumping appeared effortless and he enjoyed the long straights on this galloping track. Once negotiating the final bend he did well to quicken up smartly to the final fence on the inside of three rivals showing deceptive speed and bravery to lead at the last and battle to win by a length. He is an exciting sort who will appreciate being stepped up to the Grade 1 courses and using his natural scope to best effect. 1st Dam

1st Dam - Ballingers Corner (IRE) (15 f. by Jeremy (USA)): winner on her most recent start of a Mares Maiden Hurdle, Market Rasen, 05.11.20

64 Cream of The West (IRE) by Westerner (GB) x Clare Hogan (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: This is a very promising son of Westerner who jumped well on debut and was still close up in third when coming down at the last in unlucky fashion. He showed no ill effects from that exit and returned to action two weeks later to finish a fair second on his second outing at Umma House. He is out of an own sister to Moscow Court and has two very strong lines of form to his credit already this season suggesting he is ready to progress for any end user.

65 Fraughan Hill (IRE) by Jet Away (GB) x Miss Foaley (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: This is an interesting addition to the catalogue who offers flat experience to progressive point-to-point form. He was only beaten about six lengths in a competitive Monksgrange maiden where he made most of the running but didn’t quite see the journey to the line. His jumping was notably good however and this was a decent effort. He made the progression from this outing to finish third in a useful looking Ballycrystal maiden behind the very highly regarded My Immortal. He is a son of Jet Away who has enjoyed a very successful start with early progeny and looks a very versatile option for purchasers.

66 Our Surprise (IRE) by Jeremy (USA) x Cadia's Lady (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A wonderful opportunity to acquire a son of Jeremy with proven form. He was second on debut at Monksgrange when beaten just two lengths and stepped up to win a decent Loughanmore maiden on his second and final outing. He is from a high class pedigree which includes Geos and Kapgarde and has all the attributes to be a top class performer under all codes.

70 Dangan des Champs (IRE) by Robin des Champs (FR) x Our Lucky Venture (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: Dangan Des Champs made a winning return to action when she opened her account in a big field Dromahane maiden in mid-October. Clearly expected to go well on her debut when sixth at the same venue last Christmas having been sent off at the top of the market, the daughter of Robin Des Champs, who is a sibling of another point victor in Heydour, encountered significantly different conditions on her return, proving to be very effective on Good ground to win by three lengths. Moving closer to launch her bid entering the home straight despite the dramas encountered when bypassing the third-last fence, she went on from the next and was always comfortably holding the previously placed hurdler As High Say, as the pair pulled clear of their rivals.

The mare placed 2nd, As High Say (IRE), has since won a 5yo Mares Maiden Point-to-Point by 3 lenghts.

The mare in 4th, Melanamix (IRE), was placed 2nd behind As High Say, and has subsequently won on her latest start at Clonmoyle.

71 Well Briefed (IRE) by Mahler (GB) x The Irish Whip (GB)

P2P.ie Review: Showing the clear benefit for her Kirkistown debut last February, the Mahler-sired Well Briefed was seen in winning action on just her second career start in a performance at Portrush in October that featured very likeable battling qualities for a horse with such limited racing experience. An own-sister of the five-timer track winner Bugsie Malone, who also started his career by winning in the pointing fields at the age of five, she moved through to take a share of the lead on the final circuit. What was particularly striking was just how tough she had to be, as she engaged in a protracted battle with the eventual runner-up all the way up the home straight, and when joined again after jumping the last, she once again dug deep to win going away by a length over a previously placed rival to suggest that she is value for more than the winning margin would suggest.

72 Airtothethrone (IRE) by Yeats (IRE) x Sorcillera (GB)

P2P.ie Review: This son of Yeats ran well on debut at Portrush when third in a maiden which included notable form from many previous maidens. He went on to Lisronagh last Saturday and confirmed that form with another very promising display when only six lengths behind the well regarded Grachus De Balme. He has now shown a very promising level of form on both his outings and looks set to go on and score in the very near future and looks the type to be a real money spinner for new connections.

74 Sidewaysinmilan (IRE) by Milan (GB) x Erins Love (IRE)

P2P.ie Review: A consistent and tough sort who was a promising second on debut in a 15-runner Castletown-Geoghegan maiden and turned out a few weeks later to finish second last Sunday at Knockmullen House to the well-bred Prime Pretender who is closely related to Accordion Etoile and French Accordion. This fellow also has a decent pedigree to recommend him with many top notch winners on his page including Theatre Guide, Caim Hill, Delgany Royal and Black Apalachi. His two runs confirm his winning days are just around the corner and there will be many of them on evidence to date.
