P2P.ie Review: Coming from Colin Bowe’s Milestone Stables, Starevitch is unsurprisingly well related having cost €65,000 at last year’s Goffs Land Rover Sale with his Saint Preuil dam having won four times in France. This son of the late Derby winner Sinndar made a winning debut at Dromahane in mid-October where he raced positively throughout. One of four horses disputing the advantage jumping the third-last fence, he picked up well to take over the outright advantage coming to the penultimate obstacle from where he was always doing enough to contain the efforts of his challengers. Following an excellent round of jumping from this horse who would not seem to be short on speed, he ultimately crossed the line to win by a length.
