Always up with the pace, the son of Sholokhov was very slick over his obstacles throughout. Travelling smoothly into the contest under Pat King, the chesnut picked up smartly in the closing stages to record a comprehensive two-length success. With a number of expensive purchases shaping well in behind, this maiden may well prove to be a decent affair, considering it also clocked the fastest time of the day. Already a half-brother to three winners, this likeable sort looks to have a big future ahead of him.
