P2P.ie Review: The Donnchadh Doyle-trained Big Bresil lost very little in defeat when finishing runner-up to a very smart looking prospect in the four-year-old maiden at Liscarroll. The imposing French-bred caught the eye in the paddock beforehand and given a patient ride by Rob James the son of Blue Bresil made good progress to dispute on the run to three-out. The €40,000 store quickly pulled clear with the eventual winner from the penultimate obstacle but couldn’t quite match the leader turning in. To his credit this big-striding sort galloped all the way to the line and looks to be a high class staying chaser in the making.
