The eye-catching gelding led from flag fall and travelled strongly throughout where he was challenged on the run to the final fence which was bypassed and was headed on the run-in where he kept on well to the line to finish runner-up. Out of the six-time track winning and Grade three placed mare, Cara Mara, Zihuatanejo is also a full-brother to the three-time track winner, Flemcara. Having posted such a strong run on his initial start, he is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.
