P2P.ie Review: Kiltealy Briggs ran a cracker when second on his debut in a four-year-old maiden at Inch in March. By the ill-fated Fame and Glory whose stock so far have been hugely exciting, Kiltealy Briggs was waited in rear before making progress on the final mile where the Colin Bowe-trained gelding produced a strong challenge to the leader at the penultimate fence where it remained nip and tuck on the run-in where he finished just a neck behind in the runner-up spot in a race that produced the quickest time of the day which was 13 seconds faster than the days average. Kiltealy Briggs is from a stellar national hunt family as he is out of a half-sister to the Aintree Grand National winner, Ballabriggs. Having posted such a strong run, this well-bred gelding lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster with a lot to offer it seems.
