Always travelling notably well, the Donnchadh Doyle-trained four-year-old was waited with until approaching the third-last. Once his rider Rob James asked him to take closer order, the response was immediate as he made rapid progress in a matter of strides. Once hitting the front, the well-bred individual was never asked to extend and as such, the winning margin was only five-lengths. This however disguises his complete superiority over his three rivals. Some Man looks a really nice individual who looks every inch an above average performer.
