P2P.ie comment: Templepark has shown plenty of ability in his two runs on the point-to-point circuit and backed up his encouraging placed debut at Kirkistown, by running out a wide margin winner at the same track last time out. Having looked like he would improve for the run on debut, the Phoenix Reach gelding did so in real style as he returned to that same venue and looked a smart prospect, to run out an eight-length winner in a race which clocked a decent time. Trained by Colin McKeever, the four-year-old always travelled well and his jumping allowed him to lead heading into the final circuit. From there, the race was never in doubt and the winner produced a really taking performance. Templepark looks to have plenty of gears and his slick jumping will be a real asset when he embarks on what is sure to be a successful track career as he graduates from a leading academy adept at producing high class Graded winners.
