Marble Moll had failed to complete her opening two starts in competitive four-year-old mares’ maidens during the Autumn last year, however a Winter break and the switch to Good ground has appeared to have brought about significant improvement from her as the daughter of Scorpion got her head in front on her first completed outing. Always towards the fore at Dawstown earlier this month, in a change to how she had been ridden previously when held-up in rear, Marble Moll responded well to pressure on the run towards the penultimate fence, and once hitting the front, she kept-on all the way to line, to fend of all challengers.
