P2P comment: Invincible Cave dictated the pace at the head of affairs in the hands of Derek O’Connor before running out an impressive seven-length winner of division one of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden. The Court Cave gelding jumped notably throughout, and having had the gears to quicken clear after jumping the penultimate fence, such was the authority which he held over his rivals, that he was able to be eased down in the closing strides to defeat fellow Monbeg Syndicate-owned horses who had a monopoly on the placings by also filling the second and third positions. A sharp sort, whose fencing is one of his greatest strengths, he certainly made an impressive debut.
