Cheer's Delboy (IRE)
Updates
P2P.ie comment: Cheer's Delboy was bought for just €5,800 as a foal by handler Mick Goff, a purchase that looks sure to bring about good profit as he enters the sales ring for the second time. With the benefit of a run in late February, the Golan gelding improved massively for the better ground conditions when finishing second in a four-year-old geldings' maiden at Curraghmore in mid-April. Tracking the leader from the outset, he was produced to mount a challenge from two out. Holding every chance on the run-in, he impressed with how he stuck to his task, ultimately losing out by the narrow margin of a neck. Liberadio, a faller on the day has since come out and boosted the form by finishing third in a similar event at Grennan.
