This mare felt the exertion and ultimately pulled up but with a more restrained set of tactics on her second start she fared notably better. She was still close to the pace at all times at Ballingarry but managed to deliver a well-timed challenge at the last and go on to score. She had to battle to lead by a neck at the line and was green in the closing stages. She is a straight forward youngster as she was providing her young rider with a first career winner here so she should be an easy mare to deal with going forward.
