PTP Review: Further success awaits this four-year-old following a confidence-boosting victory on his British point-to-point debut. Wittily-named, being by Bullet Train, a three-parts brother to the great Frankel, he ran in three Irish point-to-points earlier this season for his current owner, showing glimmers of promise. A good-sized horse for whom time could only be an asset, he was then sent across to Somerset and the stable of Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer Will Biddick, whose first assignment for the horse was a three-mile maiden point-to-point at Cothelstone. Confidently ridden by his trainer, Uncle Frankel went to the front before two out, and despite a novicey error at the final fence won easing down by five lengths. The runner-up started favourite having finished second on his two previous starts. Uncle Frankel 's dam was a half-sister to the high-class mare J’Y Vole and five other winners including two further black-type performers.
