PTP Review: Hailing from the family of the great Badsworth Boy and the Gr.1 Cheltenham Festival winner Fundamentalist, this five-year-old is a half-brother to the winning pointer and useful chaser Recite A Prayer who is trained by Willie Mullins. Making his racing debut in a three-mile maiden point-to-point at Chilfrome in Dorset, he beat all but one of the ten runners and was well clear of the third. The experienced winner subsequently made all to land a seven-runner restricted race (winners of one) two weeks later. A good-looking neat horse, Cherokees Prayer, will have benefited from the run and can build on that performance.
