P2P.ie Review: Queens Fortune was pitched in against geldings for her debut in a four-year-old auction maiden at Dromahane at the beginning of the month where she acquitted herself well when beaten by just eight lengths in third. She tried to make all of the running against the ten geldings that lined-up in opposition and it was only as the penultimate fence approached that she was headed. From there, she gamely stuck to her task to hold off a more experienced rival for that final spot on the podium. Judged against the fact that she was taking on geldings, she would have to be strongly fancied to open her account from here when reverting back against her own sex.
