P2P.ie Review: Beaute Noire is a horse that could so easily have made the perfect start to her career when appearing in competitive action for the first time at Fairyhouse last month. Eye-catchingly after getting in deep to the penultimate fence, once asked a question she responded immediately and was swiftly able to cut through the leaders and burst to the front, showing a superior turn of speed in the process. Having appeared to have the upper hand in the home straight, her inexperience saw her steady into the last which proved crucial against a more experienced rival, as she was unable to recover that lost ground on the very short run-in and she was forced to settle for second. That has to make her a very interesting maiden going forward.

The third placed horse, Craan Run, subsequently won her next start in 5yo Mares Maiden Point-to-Point at Dawstown on 3 May by 3Ls
