P2P.ie Review: The Ian McCarthy-trained I'll Be That Lady finishing a very taking second in the four-year-old mares’ maiden at Necarne in the hands of Derek O'Connor. Having ran a nice race on her debut at Dromahane when only beaten eight and a half lengths, the daughter of Mahler showed plenty of improvement on her next start in this competitive 14-runner contest. Leading for much of the race, this good-looking bay was only headed at the penultimate obstacle and having galloped all the way to the line, lost very little in defeat. Out of a half-sister to nine-time winner Theo, I'll Be That Lady looks to be a progressive individual who could well become a smart performer under rules in the future.
