P2P.ie Review: The Mick Winters-trained Scullys Forge recorded success at the third time of asking when taking a five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Dromahane in the hands of Chris O’Donovan. A progressive sort, having previously finished a close fifth on his last outing, the son of Doyen was well positioned throughout, before getting the measure of the long-time leader in the closing stages, battling hard to win.  This good looking sort cost €12,000 as a store and is out of a half-sister four-time winner Casual Cavalier. This is strapping type who may well progress and make his mark on the track over longer distances in the future.
