The son of Mustameet, who had previously fallen at the first in Taylorstown on his only other start, was up with the pace throughout before staying on gamely to fill the runner-up berth. Beaten just five lengths in this strongly run contest, this €11,000 foal certainly put in an encouraging performance here. Out of a half-sister to three-time winner Ri Na Deise and five-time winner Baltic Pathfinder, this good-looking bay may well develop into a useful sort under rules going forward.
