Having made relentless headway inside the final mile, the gelding picked up on the running at the penultimate obstacle before easing clear in win by two lengths. It is well worth noting that the runner up subsequently fetched €210,000 at auction. This likable sort also looks certain to have a very bright future ahead of him for new connections.
