The eye-catching gelding was given a patient ride by Rob James before starting to make up good progress over the final mile where the son of Anabaa Blue led before the fence and stuck at his task well to secure a one and a half length success.  Espor De Loire was one of six newcomers in the line up and produced the quickest time of the day which was 13 seconds quicker than average that day. This athletic individual is out of the three-time French winning mare, Grischa as well as being a half-brother to two track winners. Espoir De Loir is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and looks to be a high class addition to the catalogue who should be added to every serious short list.
