P2P.ie review: Fishkhov looks to have come up against a very smart looking individual when he made his debut at Dromahane. Always prominent, this son of Sholokhov was the only horse capable of landing a serious challenge to winner Vanillier, as the pair jumped upsides at the final fence, a point in the race that they began to leave their other three rivals very much trailing behind them. As they pulled clear, it seemed as though Fishkov had got the better of his opponent, however Vanillier gained the upper hand on the run-in and ultimately came home three quarters of length in front. The chestnut gelding has shown himself to be a decent youngster and given the attributes he has shown in his debut performance, he will not be waiting long to enter the winners enclosure.
