P2P.ie review: Tullybeg was clearly well thought of, as Colin McBratney’s charge was sent off at the top of the market for his debut in the Oldcastle maiden that was won by subsequent hurdle winner Ballinsker. Whilst he pulled up in that Good ground maiden, the son of Sholokhov was seen to better effect in easier conditions at Dromahane on his return to action. Always positioned within the first half dozen runners in the big field contest, he tried to challenge the eventual impressive winner from the third-last, and whilst held by him, he still remained in the second spot when coming down at the final fence, in a run full of promise.
