P2P.ie Review
Following three starts in point-to-points during 2016, Ballymillen made his seasonal reappearance at Kirkistown in November where he finished fourth before stepping up notably on his latest start at Moira in December when taking his five-year-old-geldings’ maiden. Winning by a convincing twelve lengths over his closest rival, the son of Mahler made good head way on the final mile where he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to enjoy an easy victory following the departure of the leader at the final fence. He travelled well throughout and handled the soft ground conditions admirably. From the family of Grade one winner, Bob Lingo, Ballymillen has shown plenty of progression since his debut and looks like he could be a competitive sort for his new owners.
