P2P.ie Review
Following three starts in point-to-points since last April, Kapgarry stepped up notably on his fourth start at Tinahely in January to win by half a length over his closet rival in a race that was won by Blaklion four years ago. This progressive gelding was prominent throughout before being produced to lead approaching the straight where he stretched the remainder of the field and battled gamely to hold off the challenge of the fast finishing Dontbitedabait. Clearly progressing from each run, Kapgarry travelled well throughout and handled the soft ground conditions admirably. A half-brother to two hurdle winners, Kapgarry is out of a half-sister to the Group one placed and successful sire Kapgarde and looks like a gelding that can develop into a smart track performer.
