Lorvon Pearl heads to the sales following her success in the four-year-old mares’ maiden at Templencarriga in December. The daughter of Gold Well made her debut appearance at Boulta in November where she finished an eye-catching third behind the exciting Danse Idol. Benefiting from this experience, Lorvon Pearl was ridden prominently throughout and stayed on well in the home straight to win by three and a half lengths over the promising Expresstime and Kilbarry Angel. Out of a half-sister to listed French hurdle winner La Zingarella who is the dam of Grade 1 winner, L’Ami Serge, she is also from the family of Grade 1 winners Lina Drop and Snow Drop and looks the sort that will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.
