P2P.ie Review: Market confidence ahead of his debut outing at Curraghmore saw Champion Chase sent off as the even money favourite, and the Voix Du Nord gelding was ultimately only denied by just three-quarters of a length. 3 lengths down entering the home straight, he pecked on landing over the second last fence whilst gaining on the front pair, and he still had close to 2 lengths to find at the final fence, where a swift leap saw him land running before staying-on all the way to the line. Out of a Trebook mare who was a winner on the level in France, the bay gelding offered real encouragement with the way he stuck his head down to battle all the way to the line.
