15. Kayf Hernando (GB)

Monbeg Stables (Donnchadh Doyle)
Purchaser
Ryan Mahon
£70,000

Updates

P2P.ie review: Kayf Hernando was unlucky not to make a winning debut at Kinsale earlier in the month, as he led the field into the home straight, only to make a serious error at the penultimate fence. This handed the initiative to his chief rival, John Nallen’s Minella Buster, however despite that horse having the benefit of two previous outings, Kayf Hernando was not found wanting as he battled back in very game fashion. By the line, the son of Kayf Tara, who was bought for £30,000 at the 2019 Goffs UK August Sale, was only denied by a short-head with genuine expectations that he can go one place better in the near future.
