P2P Review - Reddys Island won the opening race of the new season when she came through to the get the better of a more experienced rival, one that had previously finished placed in a point-to-point bumper at Punchestown in the spring, to make a winning debut. Having always raced to the fore, a slightly slower leap at the second-last fence put her on the back foot, particularly at a crucial point in the race with a stiff climb into the home straight. However she gamely stuck to her task moving into second early in the home straight before a swift leap at the last saw her take up the initiative in a game debut performance.
