Mill Race King (IRE)
Updates
P2P.ie Review: Mill Race King stepped up nicely from his debut sixth at Curraghmore in the spring to run out quite a comfortable winner of the five and six-year-old geldings’ maiden at The Pigeons last Sunday on his seasonal reappearance. Patiently ridden off the pace for much of the race, the son of Scorpion made considerable progress through the field at his ease going out on the final circuit to take up a narrow advantage after jumping the third-last. Quickening clear of his rivals from the back of the last, he beat a number of vastly more experienced rivals, including the previously Dromahane-placed runner-up. As this was just his second ever run, there is likely still plenty to come.
