P2P.ie Review: The Ellmarie Holden-trained Geraldo made a very likeable winning debut when taking the first division of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden at Stowlin in the hands of Derek O'Connor. The son of Jeremy was initially ridden patiently before making good ground inside the final mile. The bay travelled into the race nicely, showing a nice turn of foot and powering home late in the day to defeat the runner up by a neck passing the post, however this exciting prospect could well be value for more than the winning distance might suggest around what is quite a sharp track. The €27,000 store certainly looks to be a promising type with lots of pace and should be able to make his mark under rules in the future.
