P2P.ie Review: Royal Crown ran a game race in defeat when filling the runner-up berth in the four-year-old maiden at Lisronagh on his only start to date. Trained by Colin Bowe, the €55,000 store was given a positive ride by James Kenny and disputing the running for much of the contest, which was run at solid gallop throughout. Having pulled clear with the eventual winner from three-out the French-bred stuck gamely to his task in the closing stages, where a mistake at the final fence didn’t help his chances. The bay was only beaten two lengths at the line and certainly looks to be a smart sort in his own right.
