UK P2P Review: Two runs, two wins is the record for this gelding, who opened his account in a two-mile point-to-point bumper at Barbury Racecourse in February, beating a rival who had gained experience when second in a similar race two months earlier. This horse then won an 11-runner, three-mile maiden point-to-point at Brampton Bryan, showing he could jump as well as gallop. On the latter occasion he was given a patient ride, eased into contention on the final circuit, led running to the last and won readily by two and a half lengths and one and a half lengths, but the margin could have been greater. A Land Rover Sale graduate and a son of champion sire Martaline, he is out of a mare who was placed in a Listed hurdle in France, and has produced one other winner in that country from just four foals. He is consigned from the Cheltenham Festival-winning stable of champion trainer Philip Rowley.
