Returning alone at Castletown-Geoghegan most recently, the Getaway gelding had proven himself to be a tough sort, as despite coming under pressure at the third-last, he stayed-on gamely, aided by some economic jumping, to get back on terms at the next fence. Whilst Pilot Station was in front of him when presenting him with the race at the final fence, he was reducing the advantage of that horse all the while and would sure have gone close in any case. A tough sort who clearly stays particularly well, he heads to the sales with a maiden success under his belt.
