P2P.ie comment: Monksgrange looks to have thrown up a very smart winner of its four-year-old mares’ maiden, as Kupatana ran out an eight-length winner of the three-mile event. Trained by Aidan Fitzgerald, the Westerner mare made all and produced a good winning time in the process. Jumping really well throughout, she quickened up in the style of a very impressive sort to give the impression that she is of a very high order and capable of holding genuine black type claims on the track. She is an exciting sort.
