Huntsman Son made the best possible start to his competitive career when making a winning debut at Horse and Jockey in a strongly run Confined race. Quite surprisingly for a hunt race, this clocked one of the fastest times of the day, some 8 seconds faster than the day’s average and Huntsman Son raced up with that strong gallop, burning off all his rivals on the final circuit who were unable to live with the pace. Building on that promise, Hunstman Son overcame a blip at Quakerstown to win for the second time in three starts at Ballindenisk. This son of Millenary stays very well and a future as a staying chaser looks certainly within his capabilities.
