Super Follo, who finished third behind Minella Warrior at Athlacca, won a Maiden 4YO P2P at Bartlemy by 3 lengths on Sunday 15 May.

Minella Warrior only found the impressive Lough Derg Spirit too good when making a smart debut at Athlacca earlier this month when finishing a very encouraging second. Sent off the joint-favourite, the son of King’s Theatre, who is out of a half-sister to the Grade 1 winner and 169 top-rated Menorah, held every chance at the final fence before only Lough Derg Spirit was able to pull clear of him. That horse had the benefit of a previous run when finishing third in a very competitive maiden at Loughanmore which gives this a race a strong look about it. This was a taking debut from a horse who should be more than capable of enjoying track success next season.
