Fourth on debut at Largy when just over 12-lengths behind a pair of horses who subsequently realised €150,000 and €140,000, the Flemensfirth gelding again ran with credit when finishing third behind the impressive Good Man Pat at Necarne. Taking closer order along the back straight, the nicely related individual who cost €15,500 as a yearling, ran all the way to the line and was ultimately only beaten 15-lengths. It is rare for four-year-old maiden to feature 16-runners these days, and with the race clocking an above average time, eight- seconds faster than the day’s average, it is a performance which should not be dismissed lightly as he is surely closing in on a maiden success.
