The Beneficial mare tracked the pace throughout, and having jumped the final fence in third position, she stayed-on gamely to the line, in the process taking the second position close home. With only a far more experienced rival having finished in front of her, a mare with previous rules form, she is certainly getting closer to a maiden success.
