Trained by James Doyle, the Beneficial gelding was always up with the pace and still held every chance approaching the final fence. Beaten by a length and a-half from a race-fit rival in a race that produced by far the fastest time of the day being 14 seconds below the average, he looks likely to have success over longer distances on the track in the future.
