Whilst the Publisher gelding was left in front following a number of casualties at the final fence, he had shown a good attitude prior to that point. The bay gelding, whose Tenby-sired dam has produced a number of other winners including dual track winner Bude, followed that effort up with a solid showing on his debut in winners’ company when finishing fourth at Dawstown behind the in-form mare Castlewhite.
