Although connections managed to secure a maiden win on just his second start at Ballycrystal when he was sent off an even-money favourite, they showed the confidence in him to run a second time and step up to winners’ company when many comparable winners were being offered for sale. He duly rewarded the confidence with success at Necarne. The form of this race is to be taken very seriously indeed. He beat Pour Me A Double who on his previous start had won by 14 lengths from Ballydesmond who won a Down Royal hunter chase on his next outing confirming this to be top form. This lot can be trusted to have scored twice in decent company.
