P2P.ie Review: Silver Jet put up a big performance on debut when finishing second in a typically competitive maiden for Borris House in March. That was evident in the fact that three subsequent maiden winners have already emerged from the race including the recent impressive 19-length winner Davidoc. Unsurprisingly for a 15-runner maiden at this track, it was a race run at a strong gallop and Silver Jet had ground to make up on the principals on the run to the home straight. But he more than impressed with the manner in which he made up that ground, swiftly moving from fifth before the home bend, to take a share of the lead at the last. Ultimately, he was only run out of it late on, going down by just a length. With the clock pointing to this being an above-average maiden and the subsequent form backing that up, this is a horse to note.
