P2P.ie Review: Royal Jewel took a fine step forward from his debut in a very competitive Curraghmore maiden, where the first two horses home were both subsequently sold for €200,000 each, by going down by a narrow margin in Stowlin. He showed good battling qualities in that latest effort to only go down by three quarters of a length. That was only his second start and there certainly looks to be more to come from him, particularly when you consider that the horse that would have finished fifth but for falling has already franked the form since.
