P2P.ie Review: Curtain Tim made the best possible start to his racing career on Saturday in testing conditions at Necarne in a race which has been won by the likes of Briar Hill and Bun Doran in the past. Making all of the running and putting his athletic physique to full use with an eye-catching round of jumping, the son of Curtain Time was certainly not inconvenienced by the conditions as he was able to pick up best from the second-last fence, and although a blanket of just over three lengths covered the four horses at the line, he always looked the likely winner and would seem to be value for the winning margin. The fourth-place horse had only been beaten just under five lengths in a point-to-point bumper at Wexford to add some form to the performance.
