P2P.ie Review: A great deal was expected from Super Survivor on his debut given that he arrived at Dromahane earlier this month having costs connections €70,000 as a three-year-old and he certainly posted a performance that was full of promise for the future. The Shantou gelding had to overcome a serious error after the opening mile which could so easily have dented his confidence, however he steadily made forward progress along the back straight, having been kept wide in the deteriorating conditions. Done no favours by a faller four-out, he was produced at the third last from where he battled gamely, only to narrowly miss out on making a winning debut by a head to a more experienced rival.
