P2P.ie Review: Motown Lake is a horse that has demonstrated likeable progression in recent weeks having made his debut at Cork last month on a card which featured three very decent five-year-old maidens. This Valirann gelding finished a very encouraging fourth in his divide and it is a race that is already working out extremely well – having produced two subsequent maiden winners in addition to two further horses who have since finished place. Motown Lake is one of the latter after he stepped forward from that introduction to finish second at Tipperary a fortnight later. Making good progress to come with his challenge at the second last, he kept on strongly all the way to the line, only finding one horse (who was subsequently sold for €82,000) too good.
