P2P.ie Review: A progressive mare, Trickalight, was pitched into Hunter Chase company as a five-year-old on just her third career start, but that decision by her connections was rewarded as she came from off the pace in the three-mile contest to finish a close second, beaten just over a length against far more experienced rivals. Both the first and third horses had already won in open company during the current campaign to give a guide to the calibre of horses that she came up against at Cork, and unsurprisingly the return to maiden company saw her win at her leisure in Fairyhouse less than a fortnight later. Once again coming from behind, she proved herself to be more than a class above her rivals when taking control of the race from the penultimate fence to win by four lengths at her leisure.
