P2P.ie Review: The Hotelier ran a huge race when finishing a fine third in the second division of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden at Bartlemy. Having had an educational run earlier in the Spring, the son of Yeats improved to be beaten less than ten lengths in what looked a very competitive contest, ran 12 seconds faster than the opening division. Ridden by Chris O’Donovan the good-looking bay was always up with the strong pace, before picking up the advantage four-out. Although headed turning-in, the Joe Ryan-trained gelding galloped out to the line and certainly left the impression that there was plenty more to come. Going forward this could certainly be a very smart sort under rules.
