P2P.ie Review: A daughter of Mahler, Seaside Girl has impressed on both of her starts to date winning the five-year-old mares’ maiden at Lismore, before filling the runner up position in the mares’ winner-of-one at Durrow. Ridden with patience on her last outing in the hands of Rob James, this well-bred mare travelled strongly throughout and was able to get on terms with the more experienced winner from two-out. Handled by Pierce Power, Seaside Girl was beaten less than two lengths at the line and lost little in defeat here on just her second outing. From a family of winners, this five-year-old has produced two very promising performances and will surely develop into a smart performer under rules.
